Here is your 2023 Guide to Christmas services and support if you require it over Christmas.
The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy will be closed for Christmas and New Year but if you need to contact a chaplain or faith adviser, please do. Our emergency contact to the chaplaincy is 07500910372.
Buddhist The Soto Zen Buddhist Chaplain is available for pastoral care over Christmas. Al Seiko Garrod 07896 005598.
Christian Revd Steve Holt, the Anglican chaplain is available for pastoral care over Christmas on 07722117519.

- 23/12 8am Divine Liturgy (Followed by fasting breakfast).
- 23/12 5pm Great Vespers
- 24/12 10am Divine Liturgy.
- 24/12 4pm Christmas Eve vespers and the Blessing of gifts (bring your presents!)
- 25/12 10am Divine Liturgy of St Basil followed by a ‘bring and share’ Christmas lunch.

Night Light café
Night Light cafes are open every day of the year. The cafe opening Christmas Day will be in the afternoon 2 – 4pm and they will provide a free Christmas Dinner. I have listed the venues and opening times for you to share. Students are welcome to attend any cafe, including the Christmas day one (which they can book into). They are also welcome to volunteer in the cafes over the Christmas period, if they would like to.

Community Larder – close for Christmas on Friday 22nd December 2023 at 4.30pm and reopen on Wednesday 3rd January 2024 at 9.00am.
University Library – closes at midnight on the 22nd December then is open 12 noon – 9pm on the following days:

We are then open as normal on the 4th January and will resume 24/7 on the 8th January.
